MCGLONE SYMPATHY ON COOKSTOWN ROAD TRAGEDY

SDLP Mid-Ulster MLA Patsy McGlone said people around Cookstown are horrified following the crash on the Drum road which cost three people their lives.

He said: “All our sympathies go out to the bereaved families who are facing this tragedy this morning. We have had our share of tragic incidents in this area in recent times and people are talking about feeling helpless in the face of loss of life on our roads. What we all can do is make sure that we play our own part in making the roads safer so that some other family will not be faced by tragedy on a Monday morning.”
