Links to useful sites for Students Many third level students start their courses in universities and colleges in Ireland and the UK at this time of the year and there is the possibility of a problem arising from a lack of communication between their chosen educational college and their Education and Library Board that could result in a delay in their accreditation at that college. These problems are almost always the result of an administrative error and can usually be resolved quite quickly by contacting the relevant Education and Library Board in person. The Students Union of the relevant college will usually be able to provide further assistance if needed. The Department for Employment and Learning site linked below has contact details for the NI Boards as well as other details of financial support available for students in Higher and Further Education. Additionally all Universities and Colleges have their own websites designed to provide information to all students about their campuses, courses and events, as well as guides for prospective students wishing to apply for future courses.
