Fantasy Fairies, Fantasy Art, Gothic Art

Where did it all start?

Fantasy Art

Well it all started back in 1999 when a family gift cottage

picture dropped from its hook and the frame smashed.

I said I would create a picture to replace it, so I started

exploring with some photographs and created a digital

montage, namely Sun With A View – my first fantasy creation.

Fantasy Fairies

I wanted to create a fairy design, so after shooting some pictures I chose the

model bending down to drink.  I would say the wings gave me a challenge, but

after visiting my local haberdashery store I found something suitable to scan in for

the wings.  I found a rather pleasing lily pond scene to set my fairy in and

Lily Pond Fairy was born.  Fantasy Fairies can be seen in my Fantasy Art Section.

Gothic Art

A mixture of gothic and dark art.  Using digital and manual mediums, my gothic

art consists of Masque, Arch Demon and Aztec God, originating from areas taken from a gothic building.   Incidentally, in my Abstract Art section, you will find

Legionnaires, Acrobats and Light Cast, which also originate from a gothic building. My other dark art work stems from local photos I have taken with some sinister manipulation!

Exploring and manipulating images is great fun, as you create so much and continue exploring and exploring to see what comes from it!

Favourite pieces include:

Fairy’s Reflection of my Fantasy Fairies in my Fantasy Art section.

Aztec God and Skull Wall in my Gothic Art section

Please feel free to browse my web site... I hope you get as much enjoyment

from viewing my work as I have had in creating!
