Zena and the Jazz Warriors is the best jazz band in the West playing swing, mainstream, trad and blues. We play often in Cornwall and further afield and are available for bookings for weddings, bar mitzvahs, events and all your Jazz related needs!

We are a jazz quartet specializing in swing and mainstream jazz repertoire. The band is ideally suited for weddings, parties, promotional or corporate events. Zena And The Jazz Warriors play regularly in the Falmouth area and details of local gigs are on our gig list page.

If you are contemplating having Jazz music for your wedding or event we can travel anywhere in Cornwall and our prices are the most competitive around because there are only four of us, so please call or email for a quote. Prices vary according to length of time played and distance travelled.

We are all professional musicians with many years of experience and we aim to produce the very best quality music for our customers. We don’t use backing tracks or electronic recorded gimmickry we play our instruments. We have a compact amplification setup and are equally at home playing in a small venue or on a large stage. We can cater for indoor and outdoor events, fetes, garden parties etc. With advanced notice we can usually play requested tunes especially for weddings as often the bride and groom have their favourite song they want performed on their special day. For an idea of some of the tunes we already play have a look at our set list. For every wedding party we play I am currently giving away a CD of the band to the bride and groom as a keepsake to remember us by. Zena smith is a member of Musicians Union and as such is covered by public liability insurance. All bookings can be confirmed in writing using standard musicians union contracts.
