It was at first thought that Mary Ann Trollope Bap 2/12/1838 at Heckington was the correct information from Heckington Parish Records, supplied by Gordon Warrington. However I now think that she was the illegitimate daughter of Amelia Trollope, who later married John Bassett, hence the Trollope-Bassett shown on the birth certificate of Henry & Mary's first son William, and the reason no father is shown on the marriage certificate.

His farm inplements were sold by auction 9 February 1816 at The Falcon Inn, Earl Soham newspaper report "Ipswich Journal"

Was given relief for removal expenses from Earl Soham June 1823.

All children were baptised at Earl Soham, Suffolk

In the 1851 Census James status was classed as ' Pauper' he was 71 years old.

In the 1861 his status was widower,father , living with son John aged 40 years and John's wife & children.
