It was at first thought that Mary Ann Trollope Bap 2/12/1838 at Heckington was the correct information from Heckington Parish Records, supplied by Gordon Warrington. However I now think that she was the illegitimate daughter of Amelia Trollope, who later married John Bassett, hence the Trollope-Bassett shown on the birth certificate of Henry & Mary's first son William, and the reason no father is shown on the marriage certificate.
